Colloid adsorption is a very common phenomenon of a great significance in many natural and practical processes. In our research we develop extended adsorption models based on the Monte Carlo random sequential adsorption approach. The computer simulations are a powerful tool in the study of irreversible adsorption of macromolecules, proteins, and colloid particles, allowing prediction of particle layer structure, jamming coverage, and adsorption kinetics.
