Epidemiology

Location-based network of Portland, OR

The T-7 Epidemiology team studies disease spread using mathematical and computational tools including network analysis of social relationships, the theory of PDEs and dynamical systems to model disease spread, and using the EpiSims agent-based modeling system to study the spread of disease in a large city. Diseases of interest include HIV/AIDS, influenza, smallpox, and SARS.
