Abstract

A fluid/solid interaction is simulated by a coupled system of the Lame and diffusion equations. The system is discretized on structured tetrahedral grids with a mixed finite element method. A new efficient solver with a spectrally equivalent preconditioner is proposed and investigated. Results of numerical experiments are presented.
